cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has joined Congress party two days ago. Today Sidhu has filed his nomination from Amritsar East seat for Punjab assembly elections.
He has termed his joining the Congress party as Homecoming on sunday.
After filing the nominations Sidhu told that this time victory will be of Punjabi, Punjabiyat and the people of Punjab.
He added that i want to tell each and every Punjabi to cast their vote for Punjab this time and voted to establish worthiness in the Punjab state.
He also told that this was not his personal fight. I just want that the youth of Punjab should walk on right path. So it was really important for me to come into the system and fight.
