Navjot Singh Sidhu Declared His Assets For Punjab Polls 2017: Let’s Checkout what He Owns

Former Lok Sabha MP, Navjot Singh Sidhu who is contending Punjab assembly polls from Amritsar (East) seat declared his total assets worth Rs 45.91 crore which includes Watches worth Rs 44 lakh, his residential plots of Rs 30 crore, two land cruisers, a mini coopera and a Fortuner SUV.
The cricketer-turned-politician who recently joined Congress after quitting BJP declared his annual income Rs 9.66 crore for the financial year 2015-16. Today he has filed his affidavit in Amritsar to the Returning Officer in which Sidhu mentioned his movable and immovable assets worth Rs 6.94 crore and of his wife Rs 38.97 crore individually.
Among his immovable assets Sidhu has declared six showrooms in Patiala among those his wife owns three showrooms. He also own a personal loans of Rs 2.35 crore.
Market value of Navjot’s self-squired assets are Rs 34.75 crore whereas the inherited assets value is Rs 93 lakh.
In his affidavit Sidhu also shares the detail of his criminal case imposed on him under section 302, 323, 34 of IPC On December 27, 1988. For the same case he was acquitted by the Session Court Patiala on September 22, 1999. Punjab and Haryana High Court convicted him on December 6, 2006 for the same case but Supreme court suspended the judgment of conviction on January 23, 2007.
